The end of March 2025 brought the first true warmth of spring to the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and the "Rolyada" hotel welcomed a new session of the IT-camp "Website with Your Own Hands." We dedicated this shift to the children of our Heroes: prisoners of war, those released from captivity, and those defenders for whose return the entire country waits. Spring is a season of awakening, and for our participants, it became a time to awaken new talents and big dreams.
From a Blank Canvas to a Live Website The primary goal of this session was ambitious: to teach children how to build a web space from scratch. We traveled the path "from nothing to a finished website." Participants delved into web page architecture, interface logic, and design fundamentals. This is more than just a technical skill; it is the ability to structure one’s thoughts and present ideas to the world. Seeing a blank screen transform into a functional website created by their own hands is an empowering experience that opens doors to a professional future.
Cultural Code and Team Energy As always, we began with introductions and team building. For children living under constant stress, feeling "their people" nearby is the best form of therapy. Our cultural program helped broaden their horizons: we climbed the Ivano-Frankivsk City Hall, looking at the city from a bird's-eye view, and visited the Local Lore Museum to remind ourselves of the strength of our roots. An evening at the bowling alley was the perfect way to end the day, forging team spirit through friendly competition.
March in Tysmenytsia proved that our children are ready not just to consume technology, but to create it. We are building the future step by step, website by website, supporting each other at every stage of this great journey.
