The Resilience Code: How the November Camp at "Rolyada" United Hearts

At the end of November 2024, despite the first chills of winter, we shared a time of exceptional warmth. In the cozy setting of the "Rolyada" hotel in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, we launched our next IT-camp, "Code of the Future." This session held a profound mission, as we gathered children whose parents are true titans of our time: prisoners of war, those recently released, and defenders currently missing in action. This time, our family grew even larger, welcoming incredible children from the Tlumach community.

From History to a Bird’s Eye View We began by immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of Ivano-Frankivsk. Visiting the Regional Museum of Local Lore was a journey through time for the children, where every exhibit told the story of our strong roots. Climbing the City Hall (Ratusha) was a symbolic moment: looking out over the city from such a height, we talked about how there are no summits beyond their reach.

Healing Creativity and Constructive Knowledge The camp program was built on a foundation of balance. We continued to explore the IT world, diving deep into the specialties that currently shape the global market. However, knowledge is best absorbed when the mind is free from anxiety. That is why we dedicated significant time to art therapy and collaging. By creating visual images, the children released their dreams and feelings, transforming them into vibrant visions of their future. It was a process of deep psychological relief and self-discovery.

Movement and Energy: Bowling and the Pool The evenings were filled with children's laughter and excitement. Bowling competitions helped reveal a true team spirit, while hours spent in the pool were the best way to recharge. This was more than just fun—it was a chance for the children to finally "switch off" adult worries and just be kids. "Code of the Future" is not just about programming; it is about creating a code of support that will stay with them forever.
