Programming the Future: February's "Code of the Future" in the Heart of Prykarpattia

The beginning of February 2025 greeted us with snowy landscapes of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, but inside the "Rolyada" hotel, the atmosphere was truly buzzing. Our foundation once again opened the doors of the IT-camp "Code of the Future" for those who need our support most — the children of our defenders: prisoners of war, those released from captivity, and those whose whereabouts remain unknown. Active children from the Tlumach community joined our large family again, bringing even more energy and fresh ideas to the camp.

From the Origins of Civilization to Future Technologies This time, our educational journey was truly fundamental. A visit to the Museum of Earth's History was more than just a tour; it was a profound lesson in evolution. Understanding how our world has changed over millions of years gives children a strategic vision: they see themselves as part of a great history and authors of the future. This provides the perfect foundation for studying IT specialties, as modern technology is the next step in human evolution.

Project Work: From Theory to Your Own Product The main focus of this camp was on project-based learning. The children didn't just listen to lectures about IT — they transformed into architects of their own ideas. Working in teams, they followed the path from concept to presentation, assigning roles like managers, developers, and designers. It was a practical intensive session on mastering IT professions in 2025. We watched as yesterday's students began to think in terms of products and users, learning to justify their decisions and work toward a common goal.

Balance and Support: Pool, Bowling, and Unity We know that significant intellectual work requires quality recharging. Therefore, our evenings were filled with activity and sincere emotions. The pool became a place for relaxation and stress relief, while intense bowling battles helped the children feel the excitement of victory and the strength of a friend's support. These moments of "normal childhood" are critical for psychological rehabilitation. We don't just teach coding — we teach how to live life to the fullest, to believe in oneself, and to know that they are not alone. Each camp like this is our collective step toward a future where the children of Heroes become the leaders of an innovative Ukraine.
