The beginning of March 2025 greeted us with crystal-clear mountain air and a special mission. We returned to our favorite Edelweiss Hotel in the village of Yasinia to host another IT-Camp: "Cybersecurity Basics." Our focus remained on children whose families understand the price of freedom firsthand: children of prisoners of war, those released from captivity, and missing defenders. This camp became a place where digital knowledge met the power of the mountains.
Cybersecurity: Protecting Your Space Today, the information front is just as vital as the real one. Our participants took a deep dive into the essentials of cyber hygiene. We analyzed how digital footprints work, how to recognize online manipulations, and how to create reliable barriers for personal data. Knowledge of cybersecurity is not just theory; it is a tool of confidence for teenagers who want to stay protected in the tech world. We teach them to be more than just users—to be conscious architects of their secure digital future.
Adventure Energy: Bukovel, Hutsul Land, and the Upside-Down House We believe that knowledge is best absorbed through positive emotions. Our trip to Bukovel was a true celebration of excitement. We visited the amazing Upside-Down House, which challenged everyone to look at the world from a different perspective, and immersed ourselves in the authenticity of Hutsul Land. Discovering the traditions, crafts, and lifestyle of the highlanders gave the children a sense of strong roots that sustain us even in the most difficult times.
Evenings of Unity: Mafia and Team Spirit As the sun set behind the mountains, the Edelweiss filled with thrill. The legendary game of "Mafia" became more than just entertainment; it was a training ground for logic, intuition, and psychological resilience. These games helped us bond even further, learning to trust partners and analyze the behavior of others. It was a time of genuine laughter, new friendships, and mutual support. Each participant went home with a "digital shield" of knowledge and a heart full of warm memories of friends and the mountains. We continue to build the future together!
